The MOTOMING A1600 weighs 120 g and measures 95.5 x 52.3 x 17.5 mm. MING A1600 runs on the Linux Operating System and flaunts a 2.4 inch 262K color TFT Touchscreen with a QVGA resolution. For the first time on a mobile phone, it has a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, LED flash, macro mode, 8x digital zoom and video recording. The camera also is able to shoot images in GIF format. The camera also features s business card scanner application to good use. The Motorola A1600 also packs a Music player, Video player, Bluetooth 2.0, miniUSB, talking dictionary, WAP 2.0, Java MIDP 2.0, pre-installed games and microSD card support to extend the internal memory up to 4GB.

Unfortunately, the MOTOMING A1600 is not 3G enabled, offering only quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE. Moreover, it also lacks Wi-Fi.
